During the first visit of the year of Mexico’s President to the White House, the meeting between Mandataries was focused in topics as immigration, economic growth and security.

In matter of migration, the U.S. Executive Chief talked about the efforts of his administration to fix the migration system and recognized the effort of mexican government to reduce the number of unaccompanied children that crossed the border among countries the last year. In this topic affirmed that both administrations ought to work as team with the Central American governments to resolve the economic and social challenges that produced this migratory phenomenon in particular
